When Your Light Should Pulse

When you put your light into operation for the first time, it should pulse for about 15 seconds. This indicates that:

  • The luminaire is not yet configured
  • It can be commissioned by a Matter-enabled hub

When You Need to Factory Reset

In some cases, problems may occur when commissioning the luminaire. If you encounter issues, you may need to reset your light to factory settings.

Common reasons for resetting:

  • Light doesn’t pulse on power-on (already connected to network)
  • Commissioning fails after multiple attempts
  • Need to clear existing network configuration

How to Factory Reset

Power Cycle Sequence

Switch your light ON for 3 seconds and then OFF for 3 seconds.

Repeat 11 Times

Complete this cycle exactly eleven times to reset your light to factory settings.

⚠️ Important: If the device is switched on for longer than 10 seconds during this process, the reset will be aborted and you must start the 11 power cycles from the beginning.

After Reset

Once reset, your light will pulse for approximately 15 seconds when powered on, indicating it’s ready for Matter commissioning.
